Niemeyer Sculpture for Fidel
Havana, Dec 13 (Prensa Latina) A sculpture by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, representing the resistance of the Cuban Revolution against US aggression, will be erected in this capital , local press reported on Wednesday.
The 9.5-ton work is the artist s gift to President Fidel Castro, and was built in the Cubana Steelworks Company by a Brazilian sculptor and Cuban workers.
